been almost 2 full years since i've written anything here. haven't been online much untill recently. i'm mostly on myspace and facebook (yea, like everyone else).
the plan is to head back down to ozark and go through sbs. by the way, i have no idea how i'm gonna pay for this, so if you have any extra money, (or don't have extra, but wanna help me out)... don't delay. send your checks or money orders to ywam ozarks and include a note with it (not on it) that the money is for me. it's tax deductable so what are you waiting for? the mailing address is in the contact me over on the right.
anyone who knows me knows i don't just shamelessly ask for money out of fear of sounding like a whinney begger. this is not a joke, i really do need money. guess i don't have a problem asking for money because i know there are plenty of people out there that know this is the right thing for me to do. even if you can't give me anything, please at least pray for me. not just once but at least once a week or once a day, or more if God tells you to.
thank you all... can't wait to hear from you.

Here i am, back in Minneapolis, still not knowing exactly what i'll be doing.
The trip here was definatly Aaron- style... up and running for well over 40 hours strait and more than 1200 miles covered. I live for that.
I landed here and have had a couple of relaxing days with my brother and his wife and my nephew. I've been grateful to spend quality time with them. Josh is doing or saying something new every day.
I'll try to keep giving updates when i find out what the next step is. Till then, i'll sign out... later

moving right along
Ok i haven't written anything here for a while again. What can i say, it's not my strong point.
New news: i'm moving next week. My time here at Youth With A Mission Ozarks has come to an end. I'll be back here to visit from time to time, but for now i'm headed back to Minneapolis.
I've got a whole new challenge in front of me. God's told me that He wants me to help start something like a youth center. I'm not sure exactly what all will be involved, but it's God's idea so it'll be cool.

What?!... It's over?
Yep, it's over and done. The very first school at YWAM Ozarks ever just finished up last evening. A couple of the "former students" have left already. A couple more will leave a little later on this morning.
One of them, Shoshanna, has decided to stay on staff for the summer. That's good because we need all the help we can get around here. She is planning on attending the next school we have here which will be the "school of biblical studies".
As of now, Heather is thinking about coming back to staff the next dts. Brint is off and running doing things like attending weddings, seeing old and new friends, and waiting for a school to start at University of the Nations Kona (ibc or introduction to biblical counseling)
Rachel is picking up as many shifts as she can at Hueys (where she worked in Memphis before she came here). And Sarah is jumping in with both feet to counseling at summer camp where she's from in Michigan. She too is planning on taking another school down the road (...Photography in Amsterdam?)
Jonathan and Caroline, the leaders, will be spending countless hours this summer on follow- up stuff and "continued communication" for the students. Their goal is to not just fill these students heads with information and turn them loose, but to follow up with them and help them process the things they've learned.
Any way, it's crazy how fast the last six months have gone. Personally, i'm looking forward to staffing the next dts here which will start around the middle of December. Until then, i'm staying crazy busy trying to keep the grounds looking good and keep things fixed and working.

Almost everything i own is here in Ozark now. One thing that i'm glad to have again is my skateboard. Guess i missed that thing more than i thought. It's been a long time (Jan. '93) since i used to skate, and i've only been on it a couple times since then. I feel like a kid again as i attempt to ollie over one deck or jump off a couple steps. I don't remember it being this much of a work out.
